Tangy butter cake is perfect tea time treat! Let's explore how you can take your plain butter cake to another level.
Only one pack needed.
1 box BBBPRemium Butter Cake Premix (only 1 packet needed)
125g Salted Butter
3 Eggs ( A size )
3 Tbs Vegetable Oil
3 Tbs Full Cream Milk
Grated orange rind from 1 Large Orange
Juice from half of an orange
2 Tbs Sunquick orange
This is how we do it
1. Mix the butter cake as per instruction on the box.
2. Add in Orange Rind, Juice and Sunquick and mix it well.
3. Pour into 8 inch pan and bake until skewer test comes out clean.
Topping ( totally optional )
100g Cooking Chocolate / Dark Chocolate
60g cream/ milk
1. Double boil chocolate and cream until fully melted.
2. Let it cool for a few hours for a thicker consistency.
3. Drizzle onto the cooled baked marble cake.
1. Select orange with gritty skin ( as opposed to smooth) in order to get maximum rind.
2. Add in some poppyseed to turn it into Orange poppyseed cake.
